PT Batulicin Enam Sembilan, started as a family business started by Mr. Alamarhum Haji Maming, along with his son, Mr. Mardani H Maming, with the name of a limited liability company, namely CV. Bina Usaha was founded on March 18 2003 which pioneered the mining business, heavy equipment rental services, transportation and management of coal terminals and ice factories for the needs of local fishermen.

CV. Bina Usaha continues to progress. In 2005, this company received a Coal Exploitation Mining authorization permit, and in 2007 CV. Bina Usaha also obtained an Iron Ore Exploitation Mining Authorization permit.

To accommodate rapid business developments, on May 23 2011, CV. Bina Usaha's status was upgraded to PT. Bina Batulicin Usaha, led by Mr. Rois Sunandar Maming, SE.

PT. Bina Batulicin Usaha also experienced significant progress with the expansion and mining of the business sector. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to separate each business sector but remain integrated.

On August 24 2011, PT. Batulicin Enam Sembilan as the holding company. Until now PT. Batulicin Enam Sembilan already oversees 30 subsidiaries engaged in various business fields, ranging from mining, coal terminals, special coal ports, hauling road management, underpasses, mining transportation, heavy equipment rental, ship fleets, plantations, agriculture.
